Rebellion 2-15-10

I talked with Marybeth yesterday.  And to sum up our conversation Mark is in all out rebellion.  He is not co-operating with the counselors, and was ready to check himself out (Which he can do at any point).
They are also having problems with the counselors communicating with them.  They haven't done the things they say they do:  MRI's, brain scans, reviewing Mark's charts to "know" him, including Mark in the treatment plan, communicating progress or set backs, and the list goes on and on.  Larry was on his way to Dallas to see what was going on.

I will try and get an update today, but in the mean time I ask that you include the treatment center, and the counselors, and Marybeth & Larry in your prayers!  And thank you for your prayers are like incense rising to heaven and the lifting of your hands like the evening sacrifice!  A sweet, sweet aroma !  Ps. 141: 2

Ps 73:26
My flesh and my heart may fail,
BUT GOD is the strength of my heart and my portion forever!

Good morning
Seems things are always the hardest in the beginning and hopefully it will turn around with all the prayers going up to the right ears to help him.
Hope all works out well and I shall keep up on your blog.
Every prayer is heard!

Much love to all

Having a parent that went through treatment I can tell you the beginning is hard on everyone! Many things need to be discussed but first comes the detox of all bad elements...finding the truth of it all...and only then can the healing begin. I hope and pray that the necessary steps will be taken soon for assessment and treatment. I also pray that all of the answers will be given to MaryBeth and Larry upon arrival...hugs and tears shed and perhaps a new positive beginning in the end for all...especially Marc!

Much Love always and forever!
Paula

Please know that God is on your side and eventually Mark will be receptive to the precious gift of recovery that he is being given. Stay strong and keep the faith. I believe in the power of prayer and will continue to pray for his recovery, his family, MaryBeth and her family, and everyone else involved in this process.

I love you guys.
